Amazing Benefits of Customized Skin Care
Amazing Benefits of Customized Skin Care
Apothecary and Homeopathy have their' origin of customized medicines, beauty, and personal care, explicitly using natural sources to heal people of illness, way before people's health was viewed as monetary pawns. The art and respect of Apothecary and Homeopathic medicine of Ancient African and Eastern Medicine have dwindled down to something simple and non-FDA-approved health care alternative here in America's corporate ran medical and personal health industry.Yet what's mainstream is over-the-counter or on-the-shelf skin care. Most people who make skincare use hired scientist who uses synthetic properties in a combination of dilutions of extracts to create the product by any means necessary. The bulk produces and sticks labels on them. We purchase them because someone we adore or want to be like has been paid a lot of money to say, "YOU SHOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT I'M PRETENDING TO USE FOR FREE!"
At Victorious Esthetics, our theory is customized skin care yields optimal results. The combination of herbs, berries, oils, plant extracts, roots, flowers, bark, leaves and stems explicitly selected for the skin type, condition, and complaints is a sure-fire way to help clients achieve skin health goals. It combines the respect for my ancestors' view of mother nature's healing power and the result of esthetic knowledge gained over the past 14 years of study.
The difference between Victorious Esthetics is that when I work with someone you may know or adore, they don't want their business out there. They want their secrets to staying hidden, and that's what I do, keep them hidden. I don't want to violate the privacy of any of my clients. However, they've experienced great results with the products customized for them in little to no time. Below is a list of excellent benefits of Customized Skin Care:

Skin And Self-Esteem, What's the Connection?
Most people don't realize it but the skin is the largest organ of the body. It protects from environmental poisons, retains moisture, excretes toxins, holds inside body structures, gives the body identifying properties, regulates temperature, provides feeling or sensation, grows hair and nails, and even tells when something is internally malfunctioning, and so much more. However, all the things are skin does is directly connected with the psychology of the way we see ourselves (because it's how we see ourselves) and feel about who we are as a person; and even more dangerous, how others see us as well.
Many people are born with what we like to call perfect skin. Babies are blessed that way, but so many babies go through skin conditions shortly after being released from the hospital because of exposure to environmental, food, and product allergens such as gluten, dairy, fragrances, dyes, lack or too much sun exposure, or just being touched with unclean hands. Many babies suffer from cases of eczema, Rosacea, and Dermatitis before they are 6 months old, and the most common cause has been referred to as "Cradle Cap" The thick white scaly dead skin that develops on the baby's scalp usually around the hair line. If this isn't bad enough, when the child is introduced to dairy, they may develop really bad eczema issues.
Eczema itself is a torturous, condition of the immune system that not only affects the senses and nerves, but the sanity, self-esteem, and morale of an individual as well. It causes irritability, mood swings, and feelings of low worth and embarrassment. Depending on the severity of eczema, the body can show signs of acne and oozing eczema, which people can consider contagious, which is something else that's heavily depressing.
If natural skin conditions aren't damaging enough, leaving sometimes lasting marks on the skin and in the mind, many children get hurt. So many children grow up and experience traumatic experiences that may leave lasting scars into adulthood. Burns, cuts, and scrapes, can heal and leave reminders of what not to try again. However, those of us who have had traumatic experiences that have occurred to the face, don't get easily forgotten or hidden, and sometimes can play a big role in being bullied. According to BBC.com news:
But her experience is not uncommon, YMCA research finds, with more than half (55%) of children saying they had been bullied about the way they looked.
For its research - In Your Face - the youth charity surveyed 1,006 youngsters aged 11 to 16 across the UK and carried out focus groups in 12 different UK locations.
It found that of those who had experienced appearance-based taunting:
- 60% had tried to change the way they looked
- 53% said they became anxious
- 29% said they said they became depressed
- 24% said they had reduced the amount they ate
Bullied for the way I looked'

And as children grow and hormones fluctuate, acne or sensitivities can begin to play a major role in skin conditions. However, if the internal issues are never resolved and the allergens are never identified, the skin condition will only get worse, and the cycle of adult acne and unresolved symptoms and condition will continue.
The idea for combining custom skincare with my Victorious Training Life Transformation course is to combine internal and external love and care to bring all clients into a healthy, vibrant, natural beauty.

Dehydration vs. Dry Skin
Dry Skin is a skin type for the people blessed of God with perfect skin, little no no visible pores and doesn't break out.
Dehydration is a skin condition any skin type can have
Dehydration is a skin condition any skin type can have
- Dehydration in Dry skin leads to early signs of aging.
- Dehydration in Oily skin leads to dry patches.
- Dehydration in Sensitive skin is the first sign of eczema.
Climate and Altitude Play a HUGE role in your hydration levels which are beyond your control.
- However, dehydration itself is a preventable, treatable, and manageable condition:
- Use Moisturizers, the smaller the molecular structure the better
- Night/Day Creams or larger amounts of moisturizer when going to bed or outside
- Facial Masks with Hyluronic acid
Are Oils Better Than Creams?
Depends on the skin type and area:
- Victorious Esthetics believes in treating oily skin with balancing oils that are non-comedogenic
- Creams are better feeling for dry skin type, but oils penetrate the skin better.
- Creams are great for sealing in the moisture of the oils, but not for oily skins, will cause breakouts
How do we know if we are dehydrated?
- Pinch test cheeks and back of hands to test skin hydration levels
- Be honest with yourself, if you don't drink at least 32 oz. water everyday, you are probably dehydrated
How to be Victorious Over Dehydration?
- We keep skin hydrated from the inside out
- Drink water often as well as fruit and antioxidant drinks
- Try not to use alcohols on skin peroxide and witch hazel are great antiseptics
- Use sunscreen, the UVA/UVB/UVC rays are the main cause of dehydration as well
Sensitive Skin vs. Sensitized Skin
Sensitive Skin is skin that has a low tolerance for any chemical, ingredient, pollen or other allergen which will cause a reactive nature (irritation) in the histamines that will cause itchiness, redness, hives, rash, and pain in the affected area, or throughout the body
Such medical diagnosis or people who suffer with the following are commonly at risk to skin sensitivity:
Such medical diagnosis or people who suffer with the following are commonly at risk to skin sensitivity:
- Dermatitis
- Eczema
- Rosacea
- Asthma
- Dehydration- 1st sign of eczema
Common allergens which cause above sensitive reactions:
- Seasonal Allergens
- Fragrances
- Dyes
- Foods (Gluten, Dairy, Alcohol, Detergents, Cosmetics, Perfumes, Metals/Jewelry)
Sensitized Skin is skin that has been over exposed to allergens that has caused chronic damage or acute sever reaction that may take a long time to recover from.
- Internal System Overload of the Immune System
How to stop or minimize skin sensitivity?
RECOGNIZE THE CAUSE
- Make a Diary of your eating habits product usage, and research ingredients
- Process of elimination (2 weeks per item)
- Allergen Test w/ Dermatologist
- Make a list of allergens, laminate it and place it in kitchen and bathroom and in car so you'll have it ready when you go shopping.
- Changing your diet and purchasing habits will help achieve your goal in minimizing allergens
- Take your allergen list on a "shopping for allergen free shopping excursion"
- Purchase foods which encourage overall health, that are gluten free and non-GMO certified
- Try to eliminate fragrances and dyes from your cleaning detergents and hand soaps.
Be Aware of the Seasons:
- Some allergens are not humanly controllable
- Talk to your Primary Care Physician or Dermatologist about seasonal allergen nasal spray
- For heavy metal poison and other internal matters antibiotics may be required.
- Natural, not made with natural and synthetic blended ingredients
- Hard water may cause dehydration in skin, get water treated if water is the irritant
- Avoid allowing chapped skin to be unattended.

Skin Type vs. Skin Condition
What's your skin type? Most people have an understanding of their skin that was sold to them by a cosmetic manufacturer's marketing team to sell their latest, and greatest product. Now, not saying that no one correctly sells information with their skin care; I'm just saying, I've sold a lot of product to many people, nationally and internationally, and I know for a fact, there were many skin care consumers buying products that were not effectively helping themselves achieve their skin care goals. The reason being, most people want to identify the skin condition a skin type, instead of properly identifying the skin type, and then addressing the skin condition. It really makes a big difference, actually, when you correctly understand your skin type, you will be able to get a proper handle on the skin condition.
Skin Condition is usually symptoms that resulting from unbalanced skin.
Simply put, every skin type has a condition that may come from it, and it is up to you to know what your skin type is so that you can maintain balance to minimize any conditions that may come about.
Skin type terms: Dry, Normal, Oily, Combination
Skin condition terms: Dehydrated, Aging, Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis
See how terms get all confused, I bet you were shopping for Anti-Aging product like skin type products, when you should have been looking for products for Dry to Normal skin.
Or, maybe you were seeking acne products when you should have been seeking products for oil balancing.
The most common misunderstanding I have seen is the Dry and Dehydration confusion... Dry skin is a type of skin that has little or no oil produced from the oil glands of the skin, dehydration of the skin can occur in any skin type, and has a lot to do with the lack of water in the oil/water balance needed to maintain skin moisture levels.
